Default Good P4 Heatsink

Looking for a decent/good heatsink for my p4...its running kinda hot. Not too bad...but I figure I'll play it safe.

I don't want one that's so heavy it bends my effing motherboard, though...so if anyone can reccomend a lighter one it would be awesome

if you're going to use Zalman, the 9700 is better.

Newegg.com - ZALMAN 9700 LED 110mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler - Retail

Also, MX-1 Thermal Compound is REALLY hard to find... believe me, I tried. Your best bet is eBay, since none of the authorized Arctic Cooling retailers have it in stock.

50 C is HOT for idle temp... I'd say Dangerously hot, especially if it kicks up another 10-20 degrees under load.

I've got my E6600 overclocked to 3.3GHz right now, and even under a full load it only gets up to 39-40 C with the Zalman 9700 CPU cooler.

Pentium 4's run a lot hotter than Core 2's, so I wouldn't say you're that bad off right now.
