| 'Just Flexing My Epeen' | Hi, Im haveing some problems finding out the REAL temperature of my E6850, if i reset my pc Bios says between 38C and 42C, Everest won't show it, SpeedFan says Intel Core 1 37C and Intel Core 0 37C, but then Sensors view claims its 51C. I just don't know which one to beleive, i need an accurate one so i know my CPU temps as im trying to overclock, obviously i cant look at BIOS temps whilst gameing. Any advice/ reccomendations ? Also i want to just keep my CPU cooler at 90 percent fan speed, around 4,500 on stock cooler, not that silly 1,300, but i cant find any manual fan speeds in BIOS (P35C-DS3R mobo). It doesnt need to last more than a year or 6 months either. I wont hear it either because if im at my pc iv got my Z5500's on half, and we all know that there loud .

| Super Techie | Try CoreTemp, or the program (EasyTune I believe) that came with your motherboard to monitor the temps. That mobo program should allow you to mess with the CPU fan speed too.

| Master Techie | What about RightMark CPU Clock Utility program? It's working well with my BIOS since both show the same temperature. Might want to give it a try.
