| True Techie | Yup, Newegg.com - Kingston 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail definitely works with my computer.. I have 667MHz ram in right now, and it can run at 667, and it's DDR2. Will probably buy this, one package, 2 gigs of ram, only 54 bucks.. good deal if you ask me. |

| Wizard Techie | Newegg.com - Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail $50 after mail in rebate. You would almost be stupid to buy Kingston value RAM over this. |

Newegg.com - Kingston 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail Newegg.com - CORSAIR ValueSelect 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Desktop Memory - Retail I know both are very well-known, but I don't know which is better? | True Techie | K.. but I just found something upsetting.. I checked the CPU-Z thing again, and it says, "Max Bandwidth: PC2-5300(333 MHz) =[ EDIT: But wait wtf, it says on my DELL manual that I can run, "dual-channel 533-, 667-, and 800-MHz DDR2" meh, i guess taht CPU-Z thing is wrong? idk. I would still get something besides value RAM, even if you won't be overclocking. It's just simply faster RAM, it will last longer, and you'll probably be happier you did later on down the road. It's all very cheap, try to get something half-decent. Kingston value RAM is complete garbage from my experience. | |
