I got it from GAM mods, which is an Australian store. the LCD is pretty difficult to not damage, and put back together so that it still works. I don't know if the G15 v2 is easier or harder

On the mk2 it is one solid peace not a flip style LCD like on the mk1, so i am guessing it would be much simpler to do.

An both the mod jobs look great.

it was pretty easy to take apart and put back together. the red trim piece i painted actually screws off from the inside so that's how i painted it with out taping the whole thing up.

I've got the exact same keyboard.. Doesn't the red color you used detract from the orange LEDs? I think you did a great job of painting it but I might have picked a different color.
