Question fsb wall

ummm hello i have a asus p5b-e and a e6600 i cannot overclock my cpu to 400x9=3.6ghz i currently hav my cpu overclocked to 396x9= 3.564ghz using 1.54 volts on the vcore and it is stable for 8 hours +. i have tryed giving my cpu up to 1.6 volts on the vcore trying to achieve 3.6ghz. so i am thinking that something else is holding me back could it have something to do with northbridge temps? asus did not provide me with a fan for the northbridge just a passive heatsink. my northbridge temp is idle around 50c is that too hot? is that whats holding me back?
