Default fps good?

i over clocked my old 5500 pci again and was able to push 58 fps average out on the css stress test medium to high settings.

i pushed the overclock to 330/540

that's pretty awesome. considering thats about half of what a $360 gets, and 5500s are worth like what, $120?

Not really. The 5500 wouldnt be able to display a lot of the effects the $360 card can.. plus, if u put the 5500 on the same level settings as the $360 card is runnin at then there would be a large difference

a 360 card (i.e. 6800GT pci-e) uses 16 pipelines, with x16 bandwidth (4 gigs?) and has the frequencies of 350/1000

that $120 card he has has like 2? 4? pipelines, a really, really small bandwidth (PCI)

very, very different

but you management to OC a pci card so good job?
