Any suggestions are appreciated ASUS A8N n-FORCE 4 SLI http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...131-524&depa=1 Corsair Value Ram Dual (512 x 2) http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...145-440&depa=1 AMD64 3200+ http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...103-500&depa=1 19' PureFlat CRT Monitor http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...197-002&depa=0 120GB HD Maxtor http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...197-002&depa=0 550 Watt Case http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...162-029&depa=1 eVGA 6600GT http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduc...130-220&DEPA=1 NEC DVD/CD http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduc...106-967&DEPA=1 Creative Audigy 2 ZS http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...102-162&depa=0 Windows XP Pro LogitechMX510 Lite-On Keyboard Should I get...PSU? um...CPU Fan? Better Ram, OCZ? One more question about the build, When you are done setting everything together, you just turn on your computer and the bios is ready, remember im a noob. someone told me something about firmware, got no idea what that is. Thanks a lot and any advice is appreciated Truebe |

| You are going to want a better power supply. The one that comes with the case isn't good. Also you don't need an SLI board. Just get an Nforce4 Ultra board with one pci x16 slot. If you aren't into overclocking just get the retail processor and use the fan that comes with it. Again if you don't plan on overclocking that ram is fine. The MX510 is an awesome mouse. When you put everything together you just choose boot from CD in the BIOS and put in your windows disk and install dvd burner looks good, video card looks good, sound card looks good you could do better on the hard drive, you might also consider 2 hard drives in RAID

| get a case without a power supply and buy another power supply (ocz modstream 450, antec neopower480, or fortron bluestorm 500) get a non-sli board like the DFI lanpaty ultra-d ut (around $139 at teh egg) and get corsair XMS 1 gig(around $160 at teh egg) oh, and you can either get the zalman-7700cu for your cpu cooler, or you can use the stock cooler (the boxed version comes with it, it's $190 w/ cpu [also 90nm]) |

![]() You need to get a pci-e video card. Look for the pci-e version of that same card. Ok so since you are thinking about overclocking I will recommend a couple things. If you like quiet and powerful this is the cooler for you: http://www.xoxide.com/zalman-7700-cu-cpu-cooler.html It provides a lot of airflow at minimal noise levels. I get 21C idle, 28C load on this thing. If you like loud then get a thermalright heatsink and an 80mm tornado fan. For the RAM I would suggest some higher speed RAM only because being new to overclocking your biggest problems will be overclocking the RAM. So if you get the higher speed stuff you won't have to worry about the RAM and you can jsut focus on overclocking the processor which should be no problem. http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...231-004&depa=1
