my cathodes came with the switch already a part of the set and no additional wiring had to be added
in case any of you are wondering the cold cathodes and blue led fans were purchased from www.svc.com for a grand total 12.50 all in all a well spent hours wage

btw i hoped to do the same thing but i havent gotten around to it shoulnt be too hard although it would take some time

I'm gonna make the front of my case red and the inside blue! It's gonna be tight

Also I got six fan gonna make 4 of them all bue 2 red and it is gonna be bright with dual cathodes

yup you just have to figure out what 2 wires carry a charge on to the fans
even though there are three wires only two are used wire it up so that it interupts one wire and is a pass through ____switch______

nope no program needed the pics have worked on all comps i.e. mac;s, pc's school and home

the case is
aspire's x-infinity and i moved the top fan to the outside, removed the x-infinity acrylic logo and added a bunch of lights
i think just removing the x-infinity improved the looks loads
