| True Techie | I was able to OC my athlon xp 2500+ @ 2.08 ghz... As i went higher i ran into stability issues. I'm running around 45 C (according to bios.) A few q's: Is there a way I can check this from windows xp? I found a program called vcool, but it seemed to only work with the via chipset. Could I possibly get higher clock speeds by buying a better heatsink (rather than the amd standard)/Adding more voltage to the CPU? And how far can I push my Mushkin! pc3200 ddr Ram???

| excuse me, what settings are you using? you should be able to go higher than what you have easily. read these customer reviews. pay careful attention to the people who posted the settings they used to overclock theirs. i have the same CPU as you, 2 actually. http://secure.newegg.com/app/Custrat...tem=19-103-379 |
