Apokalipse-

Why do you think watercooling for RAM is a fad?

Considering the temperature increase in .1 .2 volts, isn't that a good idea?

And Haha, i love the name Magicstiz, it's quite clever.

I think I'm going to do some benchmarking with them. I'm going to run 3DMark06 and various FSB and memory timing settings.

If I can get those magicstix to run between 4-4-4-10 to 4-4-4-12 at 1ghz, I'm going to be one happy dude.

Actually they are capable of running DDR2-1000 at 4-4-4-12. Mine can do that quite, easily.

because you can get RAM that overclocks very well with only regular heatspreaders
Mind you, heatspreaders don't actually do a whole lot. They just look good.

no kidding? sounds good to me, i'm stoked for it. DDR2-1000 with timings at 4-4-4-12 sounds awesom to me. I wonder what I could get if I loosened them to 5-5-5-12 or something.

It seems games favoer morth bandwidth over tighter timings.

My PC5300 do 1200 @ 5,5,5,15 2.25v....about to pick another 2gb set up this week because they are on a special here in teh UK.

I dont think you need crazy ram cooling...I do have an Antec 900 case though which has that 240mm fan pulling air right across the memory modules.
