Default It is done

I orered these bad boys last night-

Newegg.com - Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail

I can't wait to see how far I can push those.

It's starting to get alot colder where I live, so pretty sure I'm going to go on a suicide run with my rig. With the new memory and my BIOS reverted back to how it was, I suspect I should be able to go pretty far.

I'd love to be able to run my divider at a 1:1 ratio. But when my CPU is at 3.0ghz, that wold mean the memory would have to run @ 1333 to be able to run a 1:1 divider.

But, that seems rather high, even for the ballistix. So instead, I'm hoping to achieve a 3.1-32=3.2ghz on my proc, and 1000mhz-1111mhz on the memory.

I'm probably consider a memory fan, like the ones they make for the dominator memory.

Have any of you had any experience with RAM fans?

The magicstix prevails again, yet another example of why we recommend this.
