Default Does my MB have a lock on the CPU freq.???

I started tweaking my biostar MB with my AMDx2 4000+ and basically hit a road block.

The cpu temp is only sitting at 35C
After putting the CPU freq. past 270 when i go to boot up my computer will go into safe mode and it will tell me i need to lower the freq. its clocked at about 2.84ghz which is nice but i would at least like to know how to push it to the limit. tried upping the cpu voltage in BIOS.

Suggest anything other than BIOS to tweak my CPU?

I increased CPU about %35 i believe.

Looks like you have hit what is called a fsb wall... This can happen with a lot of motherboards.. They literally hit a "road block" or wall at some point. Not much you can do.
