| I just recently overclocked my amd athlon 64 3700+ cpu to match up with my x1900xt graphics card's performance. I changed nothing about the ram, which is a pair of corsair dual channel value select ram, and upped the FSB to 228 with a multiplier of 11. I've heard that it's almost impossible to raise the FSB much without changing ram settings, but that's what I did, and so far I haven't had any issues. Will instability with the cpu be extremely obvious if it exists or can it be very subtle? Does anyone know of any symptoms that indicate instability? |

| Prime 95. 12+ Hours is supposedly stable enough for a OC entry, but 8 hours should be fine.

| Yeah just run it over night. If it fails after 7 or so hours dont be so concerned about it as I dont think you will be doing any OC database entrys or Running your system to the extreme for 7 hours. Then run 1m Super Pi ! ![]()
