Default cutting the case?

hey i was wondering... would it be a smart idea to cut the top bar out of my case, the one that goes from the back to the front? just kinda saw it out of there, sand it down, etc.. because i want my wiring display to show nicely once i have completed it, along with everything else that would be glowing... shoot i want it to shine so bright that it'd look like it should be at the bottom of the ocean hah! anyways, take a quick gander at my machine, either in my specs goto the link, it's the 4th row of pics, or go here...

yea it doesn't do anything, just goes from the front to back, most likely to help keep the computer case from twisting left or right, not leaning though, like having the front offcentered from the rear

Well, it wouldnt wreck the case or anything, but the structural integrity of the case would be greatly weakened. If you move your case much, youll wanna take GREAT caution because it WILL warp if not worse.

Also, one of its uses- it sometimes supports your PSU. If this is the case, it may be a good idea to keep it on there.
