| Ultra Techie | Hey guys, I know a guy who has an $8,000+ laser etcher/engraver, and the thing is absolutely amazing! Don't believe me, I'll show you a plaque he made... This is a plaque he made on wood... incredible! ![]() ![]() The engraver can do designs on pretty much anything, granite, acrylic, plexiglass, chocolate (if frozen )I ran by the possibility of him doing custom case jobs, windows, on the case itself, ect. He said we could talk about it. I just thought I'd gauge interest from you guys, who'd want to do it, how much you would pay ect. As you can see, pretty much any design can be utilized, even pictures and custom fonts! Thanks guys! |

| Ultra Techie | Haha Griev, you are actually the inspiration for this! Many people asked if you'd do work for them, and I realize that much be a terribly time consuming project. As for how much it costs.... YOU TELL ME! I don't know what he thinks about this yet, but I want you to tell me what you'd be willing to pay for custom image/graphic on your case, or case window. Thanks guys! EDIT- and in case you were wondering, that is a picture of me engraved in the wood, blurred out may name/team for privacy however The picture is much more defined in person too.Last edited by Inferno; 04-11-2008 at 12:14 AM. |

| Retired. | I have a $20,000 laser cutter/etcher. It can cut through 1 inch of plexiglass. It can also cut through other stuff. I've used it to make my personal ruler sets. It's very fun ^^
