cpu temp

On my computer not in my sig I have a amd 3400, It was running between 39 and 41 idle. Recently I put ac in my room and am getting 29 idle and 3o under load. Ive decided to do some overclocking on it now, what would be the highest safe temperature I want it to be stable, would it be something around 50?

I would try and shoot for in the low 40s. 50 is kinda high for idle. Load, that isnt high really. How much of an overclock are you thinking of?

well when i increase fsb up to 220 from 200 it idles at 33 and load is 45. Is that cool enough, what if i run it in 50's. This is at stock cooling

What core are you using? It is just a safety precaution, I mean sure it could even run in the 60's, buts its not a good idea. That is pretty cool what you got goin right now, You could even shoot maybe a lil higher for load, your idle is nice.

Yea you should be fine where you are right now. You could even push it a lil further if you wanted to.

yea, those temps seem pretty sweet.
my 2800 runs around 34 idle and it's clocked to 225.
goes to 45 under load.
