Default cpu installation

noob question comming......
i'm changing cpu tonight and need to know if it is better to install it from a clean install or can i get away with flashing the bios without having to reinstall my os?

You don't need to re-install your OS.
You don't need to flash your BIOS either, unless if it is needed to support the CPU.
