One question regarding the i5 temps. Here it's said that the Thermal Specification for i5 750 is 72.7șC. Is this the upper temperature limit of the i5 safe zone?

Anyone please?

And by the way is this valid for the core temps too? On load, my cpu temperature goes up to 64șC but my core temps goes up to 74șC. Is this too much? I'm asking this because I want to run folding with my i5 but I don't want it to pass the temperature limit.

Thanks.

That temp is the max. rated case temp. RealTemp will tell you what the Thermal Limit of your chip is. Add the "current" Temperature to the Distance to TJMax and that is the Limit. My i7 920 is 100, here's my screen as a guide.

Ok. According to Real Temp the Thermal Limit for my i5 is also 100șC so I guess 73șC on load aren't that bad temps. Folding here I come
Thanks for your help!
