Core Temp

hey guys i read that core temp has been revised to (maybe) read the temps accurately on a brisbane.
riddle me this...
everytime i open the winrar file, it says "revision g cpu found!"
and promptly shuts down my computer.
WTH?
anyone have any ideas?
and yes i have deleted, re-downloaded core temp from several sites.
although, i dont know if i have tried an older version...but i know the older version was completely inaccurate.

It works on my 6000+ no problems. But it's a Windsor, not a Brisbane.

yeah, and i used to be able to use it on my 3600 (its been awhile, though).
i just dont get why all of the sudden it shuts my computer down. very odd.
