confused on cooler

i got a Q-Tec Cooler, the other day, i've not installed it yet but im confused.

should it be putting air into the case or taking it out?

i believe its in, but my amigo said it was out
i just dont want to install it and then have to turn it around.

that all depends on what you are trying to accomplish....do you already have an intake fan on the computer? The best setup is to have a flow of air going into the computer on one end and air going out the other end.

i have a overclocked cpu, i have the fan for the cpu (standard) and then the power box, thats it, i just got told that if i got a cooler it wudnt restart itself (when it gets too hot)

if u get a cooler the chances that it will get too hot go down but it will still restart if it does, oterwise it would kill itself. I think your saying you have no case fans? in that case i think u should make it blowing air out because cold air can always find a way in.
