Default Computer wont start

I just put together a new comp and when i turn it on it just beeps. Im not sure if the wires are connected wrong or if my power supply sucks so bad that it wont start once.

Well, a beeping noise happens wen you turn the power on and none of the fans spin. Im guessing its the power supply which is brand new.

If the fans aren't spinning then I bet the psu came to you DOA. <--- Dead on arrival.

Try bringing it down to a local computer store and they will test your PSU and check the voltages to make sure you didnt fry anything

if its beeping then the psu is working and you have either a vidieo problem or your ram isnt working right , make sure they are in their slots correctly .all the way in...inital start up beeps are in code..although im not sure of all the codes ..the number of beeps tells you which one isnt running right . is doesnt tell you if the psu is good or not though, just that its is working to some degree.

if the fans arnt runnin then your mobo prolly isnt any good anymore which always sux.
