Default Case Gallery - show your handiwork

At the suggestion of a member...

READ THE RULES BEFORE POSTING
  • One 'taster' picture only per case, please resize to 500px max wide before posting. Make it a quality one. Add a few brief details.
  • Post should then give link(s) to further pictures (of any size) & more details, maybe a finished Project Log or hosted elsewhere.
  • Must be your own work, and at a 'completed (for now )' stage, not 'under construction'. This is a place to show of what you've done, not what you think you're going to do..
  • NO feedback posts. This is a gallery index, the concentrated artistry of the Bit Community, not a chat show. If you like what you see, start a thread for it.
  • Any posts not complying, containing dead images, or judged to be below decent standards will be deleted without warning.
  • Complaining is futile. Violaters will be shot, survivors will be shot again.

So... show us your customized rigs!

Case: NZXT Lexa

Noteworthy things...

- I took these photos right after I built it. The wiring isn't quite as good as it is now.
- I took the photos with a teacher's digital camera. I didn't know what I was doing and took them with the flash on, so the blue LEDs don't show.
- It is NOT a toaster oven Shumway!

I don't have a picture of my case by itself, but it looks just like everyone else's inside. I'm proud of my entire set-up that i spent about half of my entire summer's job earnings on last year.

Everytime people come in to that room, no matter who it is, the first thing out of their mouth is a big WOW when they see or hear it-- especially if they see it start up becuase my boot up sound is a big crash of thunder and it shakes the entire room and floor!

EDIT: the desk is nowhere near that cluttered and filthy anymore, its actually organized.

my sister let me use her digital camera, so here goes:
the case is a Lian-Li PC-V1000

click on the image for a bigger pic

my whole setup

inside the case

my Thermaltake Sonic Tower, with its two 120mm fans
the one on the right pulls the air in, the one on the left pushes the air out.
there is a fan sitting on the top of the sonic tower, which blows onto my GPU heatsink.

my Thermaltake Sonic tower again, when it's dark

originally, the video card had a heatsink on both sides of the card (Cooler Master Cool Viva), but I took one off so I could use the PCI slot for my wireless network card.
the heat pipe transfers the heat to the heatsink on the other side

Here's my rig. I got the case about 1 year ago from my girlfriend for a present. I've been building up and have just a few more parts to go. I'll post some more pics later.

This is my first fully painted case, and my first Linux install. I have successfully installed Kubuntu Linux on it, and I am happily working to learn the new OS. I named it Comet, because that is the name of Supergirl's horse.
