I just got a 7900 gt and i was wondering was is the best program to monitor and possibly overclock a nvidia graphics card. previously i had a radeon x800 so i dont know what they use for nvidia.

hey i just tried the coolbits but nothing happened. it extracted files. i went to where they were and there was only like a regedit thing in there. and there were no instructions.

right click on the desktop
-> properties
-> settings
-> advanced
-> Geforce 7900 GT (has Nvidia icon)

Once you add the coolbits registry, all you have to do is right click NVIDIA display then choose your monitor there should be a clock Frequency settings where you can overclock

What are the benefits of coolbits over rivatuner?

nothing. it just comes with the Forceware drivers

though rivatuner doesn't work with forceware drivers over about 82.xx I think

well i'm running XP x64....right now the latest drivers are 81.92 for my OS to my knowledge so rivatuner is just fine
