The P965 is well known for overclocking to high FSB speeds. The 650i is better for the money, than a 680i. Don't know much, about the 975X.

the 975x is not to shabby b1gapl, its got good features and plenty of connections. its oc'n ability is not the best however.

but i'd take p965>650i>680i>975x>other, in that order.
