Arrow Back to overclocking

So, with my watercooling kit installed, I am ready to go! Right now I am stable at 3.6ghz
FSB: 1600
Vcore: 1.3v
HT: 1.34
NB: 1.34
SB: auto
Mem: 2.21v 4-4-4-12 2 clocks
How do you figure out the fsb to ghz? Like so I know what my ghz will be when I set me FSB. Thanks. I want to hit 4ghz .

Divide the FSB (like your's is 1333mhz divide that by 4.. 333mhz times your multiplier = native e8400 clock speed)

thanks vern. Im letting the loop bleed for the rest of the night, I wont start overclocking until all the bubbles and foam are gone. I did a quick OC, 3.6ghz is easily achievable, couldnt get 3.8ghz to start windows. So next step is to go for 3.8ghz. I think the max vcore recommended for an e8400 is 1.36v, but since im watercooling can I go safely a little past that?

Ya depending on your cooling.. you can push the voltages by a little

so I hit 3.8ghz with these settings (got an error in OCCTin 5min, but 3dmark06 ran fine)
FSB 1600
Vcore 1.356
HT 1.34
NB 1.34
SB auto
mem 2.21v 4-4-4-12 2clocks
Ill leave it like this, when am I ever going to use 100% of my cpu playing a game? not any time soon. I idle 40c, load 56c. Still seems high for water cooling >.>

(what FSB would I need it to be>) ^ lol nos, i dont think I can beat that. what is your 1M time in super PI? like 5 seconds? lol. Im at 12s @ 3.8ghz.
