Athlon Fever?

hey everyone...i am currently overclocking my AMD athlon 950Mhz to 1Ghz and i was monitoring the temp of my cpu. i was wondering what is like the safe zone as far as temperature goes? mine is running about 114 degrees. any and all feedback is appreciated.

i think thats alright, it this under full load or at idle?

If you're talking about 114 degrees F, then that's not too bad. If it's at 114 degrees C, then you're in big trouble

You don't really want to let it get higher than 60C (140F), but the highest operating temperature for an Athlon is about 90C (194F). And by highest operating temperature, I mean if it gets that high it might not light on fire, but you should turn it off real quick
