| I was dissapointed at first, but then I noticed that the CPU score is a bit under 4000... that's a dual-core cpu... so you've got the bottleneck effect plus a poorer CPU score, plus a lack of driver optimization.... taking all this in mind 16.5K is actually quite a decent score...

| Nvidiot | my point exactly.. i'm liking this score much better.. i dunno if i've seen 16k on a wolfdale and unmodded 8800gts yet.. merk, what is the voltage on your graphics card anyway?

to 850MHz core850MHz is not a mad overclock on the GTS either, if you've got watercooling and its voltmodded you can hit anywhere between 950 and 1000 on core the only thing to maybe look forward to is new memory modules, the ones on the GTS suck - the Qimonda... although some GTS cards have already been having them replaced with Samsung modules that overclock much better, upto 1200 without a vmod.. the Qimonda barely get to 1150 even with a volt mod and also what I'm thinking, is that maybe they incorporated some of the 9600GT's SLI efficiency into the 9800GTX - if this is the case, then having them in SLI would definitely be worth it if the price is right

| Nvidiot | i wonder what the max oc of these 9800gtx's are.... could be what makes me buy it or not... and 1000 mhz requires more than a volt mod... now you got ovp and ocp... and i'm sure alot of people don't wanna deal w/ that and i'm sick and tired of these HUGE core clocks... lets get back to some real effeciency.. and bring our clocks back down on the next series...
