|  8800gts OC problems, help!
I've seen people OC an 8800gts to atleast 650/975 and sometimes higher, but mine currently is at 617/905 and it fails the test if i move either setting up. Is that simply the highest it can go or should I use a different program to OC (im using ntune now) idle gpu temp is 49c.

Different VGAs, overclocks differently. My EVGA 7600GT can only overclock to 630/770 while b1gapl's XFX 7600GT 610/1300, I think? Well you see where I'm going.

are you sure your video card is 630/770? because the ram is GDDR3, so it should be doubled for the effective speed...i've never seen a video card memory clocked that low since GDDR, even GDDR2 is at like 800mhz

link to me your card...whether it be newegg or somewhere else...i don't think your memory clock is 770, more like 14xx
