k i did all i could at that site. well, heres just an idea of whats going on. on both machines side by side, i did a sample file from microsoft, which i know is fast(halo trial) and on xp machine, 90~95 kb/s, on the 98 yet still, now slower, 35~40kb/s any other ideas?
EDIT: oops, almost forgot, i got a 100mb router and a 100mb card, cat5 cable, and its an 864/160 kbits/sec connection.
