does anyone know of some FREE scripts or programs that allow you to create Member/User login and passwords... in which they must sign up and verify their email address? limit access to directories, log in and out, and create a member profile? or maybe you've created a script like this yourself and are willing to share?
i am hoping to maybe install a program like this into my site vintagestars.com, so i can create an interactive community.
(java scripts and .htaccess restriction will not work for this. please do not suggest
