SUSE 10.1 default grub install goes to the SUSE partition which doesn't always work depending on your BIOS. You have to choose expert option and click on booting, there you'll see where it is being install. The location part by default is always /dev/sda2 for my first sata drive, but I need to change it to
/dev/sda. Which /dev/sda1 is my WinXP and /dev/sda2 is SUSE.
