well, you have to understand certain basics, like what data really is. Data is, as I'm sure you've heard, 1's and 0's. You have on the proc a whole butt load of tiny switches, open or closed/1 and 0. In the chipset itself is a set of instructions that detemine how this data is processed and executed, it then "processes" this info, spits it back out where it is then displayed via the os and other hardware. Keep in mind this is a VERY SIMPLE explanation.
