Eh... If you plan on using it for JUST your iPod, its NOT worth the money.
The iPod Hi-Fi is multi-purpose. It can be used as a home theater replacement as well as iPod speaker system.

However, if you have the money, I suggest buying it. The quality is un-surpassed by any competitors and the design, technical and aesthetical, is top-notch.
