If thats your attitude to a small problem, them forget Linux altogether. I take it you've downloaded the ISO and burned that to disk. Did you check the MD5 sum of the ISO? If you didn't then the ISO maybe corrupt. But check before you download again. What part of the install does it get stuck at?
