As a brief introduction, I am running a small website from home to build and release software. The homepage can be found here:

If you look through the site, reaching the section "The Cube", note that you have to be registered to see this section, you will find that I'm developing a free to use MUD, or online text game for those that aren't familiar with the term. The problem is thus: I cannot in any way get the server application to accept connections from outside my network.
Modem: Speedtouch 530
Connection: Bigpond Broadband
I've searched through the settings on the modem and have found only one issue in the diagnostics:

It seems that the remote IP address can't connect to the DNS, as explained in the diagnostics. However, this address, as well as the local address, cannot be "ping"ed, suggesting that I can't connect to the internet, which is obviously not the case. I've tried many things, which I won't suggest here as it may affect your thinking, to no avail. I'm desperately seeking suggestions for a solution, as I was planning on releasing a basic beta version this evening to test the server capacity. Any help is greatly appreciated and will speed the release of my MUD.
