If you do not know what protocol you are using, chances are it is TCP/IP.
Also, for the reasons I state in
this thread, you might have reason to consider a Powerbook instead of an iBook. Also, if you decide to make the purchase, be sure to order it
with an "airport" card...which is Apple's WiFi card (compatible with 802.11b or g networks, which is the standard).
