I seriously doubt it. Core Duo was designed to be a mobile platform, it somewhat makes sense why it would go into an ultra-compact desktop such as the iMac (or the Mac Mini in the future), but it's definitely not going in what's supposed to be a top-of-the-line desktop. Apple may be waiting for the Conroe to be released. I'd expect the Power Mac to be the last product they switch, the four-core G5 machine still has a significant edge at the moment.
