apok where did you find that info? the manufacturer websites says it has:
CHIPSET
VIA® KM266 (NB) & VT8233 (SB) Chipset

which means the max processor should be a XP2600+ and below excluding the barton XP2500+. even than you would need a BIOS update or manually set your processor FSB and frequency.
