Computer Forums - View Single Post - ABIT on board audio... not playing in stereo.

what gives? i've messed with the audio settings i know but i cannot get my computer to play in stereo. if i go into the "sound effect manager" and mess with the self tests and stuff, i've occassionally gotten stereo for a short while, but mostly mono. i've got no separate sound card, it's on board on the ABIT, and the application that opens when i select "sound effect manager" is "Realtek AC '97"

any ideas?
