ok from my experince i found mac (g4) is better with photoshop ,image ready...
but trust along your study you are going to use after effects,premier.etc or maybe some 3d software....which i found works better with a pc..
also look at it this way...with a pc ou can just upgard when ever..and pc parts are much cheaper than the mac...
for me i have a mini mac that i only use for photoshop and imageready
for the rest i use a pc..
