If you cant do it with Mplayer, you probably cant do it at all
it does everything........all formats,TV cards,dvd's,music, encoding and decoding into almost any format with both audio and video,plus on screen controls for picture quality etc,and its written entirely in C and assembly so its speedy fast, it does streaming video also, the man pages for it are huge.........I dont think anything for any other system payware or not can match it
