if you want a livecd (or any thing for that matter) to run while windows is running, you can try vmware, they have free trial for 30 days, they don't require your to partition your hard drive, but they will require you make a rather large file (about 5 gig if you want to run linux smoothly), so get a ntfs partition (fat32 only supports file size upto 2 gig)..
but yah, any live cd will run fine on your computer
