cPanel = cPanel is a "Control Panel" which allows you to login to a web based interface to manager your web site/scripts/statistics/mail setup/passwords/ftp access and a ton of other stuff. Most web hosts provide an web administration panel such as cpanel.

Visit http://www.cpanel.net for more info

An e-mail forwarder allows messages to be forwarded to another e-mail address. Say I set up an e-mail forwarder on email1@email.com to send a copy to email2@email2.com. Any e-mail that is sent to email1@email.com would automatically be forwarded to email2@email2.com's inbox.

Autoresponders basically allow you to setup a default response for any user that sends an e-mail to that account. Example... you email support@email.com and get a response like

"Thank you for e-mailing our support desk. We will attempt to resolve your issue within 24 hours". That is an autoresponse... just acknowleding that the e-mail was received.

The CGI and CGI-BIN folders are the same. Different systems call them different folder names.
