Nope. Being the owner for not one but two different Macs (one laptop, one desktop) and having upgraded the RAM in both myself, I can tell you with 100% assurance that any RAM that works in a PC works in a Mac, with all the same sort of advantages and restrictions (ie. dual channel pairs, etc.).
