What should I install on my new computer and why?
I know, big question and it depends, but here is my situation:
1) I'm relatively new to computers... only 1-2 years.
2) I've only used windows 98
3) My computer always has issues... not sure if its me or Windows.
So, as far as a learning curve, getting used to the OS, and just being able to use the computer "bettter", etc.
Which should I install?
Please give some advice and reasons for both... or maybe since this is the unix thread... maybe pros/cons for a unix OS.
I would like to get an idea of what I should expect from using unix, even thought I know very little about it.
