But once you get adjusted to programming by means of
almost any language (I say almost because some languges just don't cut it....like VB). Sure, once you know C++ all derived languages are going to be easier, but on the other hand, you're going to have to un-learn a lot of things as well. I personally think it's better to just get comfortable with the idea of programming by means of an easy language (like Python), then move on to something more complex.
