i'm entirely new to linux, i've been wanting to try it out but i can't find any good good info on it, can you guys help me? i've been reading through the forums and it sounds neat. i just have a couple questions.
1. why are there so many linux unix whater programs? what are the diff between them all?
2. i noticed something about compatiblity issues, do i have worry much about them?
3. does linux play most all top games? if not can't i just run linux the change over to xp while in linux to play my games?
