Hi,
The post is in "computer networking", but here is the problem. I have my adsl service though a WIFI company WIFIRST. It is provided thorugh an annntenna on my house whiich picks up the dsl transmission (WLAN) wirelessly from a tipi nearby in our village. According to all the literature from them settig up a router inside my house to share my internet connection should not be a problem . You can view it at www.wifirst.fr then go to FAQ. I cannot connect to the internet through my router, and cannot figure out why. Skype works, and Limewire work, they are somehow going around everything not needing specific IP addresses? I am lost and so is Linksys, with whom I ahve spent hours on the telephone. I hope you can help. I cannot get any responses from WIFRIST as their customer service is NIL.
