Kupo if you have winXP, make sure that ICS (internet connection sharing) is turned on... you may want to run the "setup home or small office network" wizard and choose the computer with internet access as your "this computer connects to the internet..." machine.
Correct Answer above. Add a modem to the XP and connect to the Internet. Share the connection using ICS. Create a disk to configure the second machine.

You don't. Set the IP for the second machine. Point DNS to the XP machine. or use the configure disk..... Your surfing.
