you need to install a software on your computer. I know of a good software called VNC - its free and it might have some security holes in it but I heard that they came up with a new version. That will let you see your computer, and when I say see - I actually mean that.You can view your desktop and for there get to your router using IE.
To view your computer you will need to know your WAN IP and the password. You can use IE or the client that comes with the software.
